The tiger is the largest living cat species and a member of the genus Panthera. It is most recognisable for its dark vertical stripes on orange-brown fur with a lighter underside. It is an apex predator, primarily preying on ungulates such as deer and wild boar. It is the largest and is at the 3rd place in the strongest big cat in the world. There is a special species called white tiger. It is white, rare and stronger than a normal tiger. The Bengal tiger is the national animal of India.
